Details and FAQWhat we do not do
We are non-medical, and we say so
Our caregivers do not give injections, manage wounds, administer medication or provide nursing. When your parent needs those things, we work alongside the home health agency or hospice team so the two never overlap and nothing falls through. Families like this arrangement because their caregiver can stay long after the nurse's visits end.
How care is paid for
Private pay, long-term care insurance, or the VA
Private pay is invoiced weekly and paid by bank transfer. If your parent has a long-term care policy, we prepare and file the claims. Eligible veterans receive care at no cost through the VA Community Care Network. Medicare does not cover non-medical home care.
